just what the title says
does using an inline fan with a carbon filter, in a grow tent, eliminate odors from a lab, like a fume hood, or, an explosion-pfoog exhaust fan, like for a BHO lab, but with a carbon filter on the inside?
just curious, a friend wanted to do some extracting(mimosa hostilis), and he lives in town. ive never worried about smells or anything, but ive only produced cannabis smells....and dont have neighbors, so dont care

Some. Maybe even a lot, but definately not for everything. Naptha is waynden on the list of conspicuous scents. I made dmt in a motel once.,don't even think about amines or amination, the ammonia is 100x the smell of naptha

I would suggest the pressure vent which will make absorbtion to the water container, then from the water container lid is taken gas (its the just air that thave go out of water, unlduing SOME traces and some smell) you can apply some mixutre into your filter (water container)
then simply exhaust fan takes it out

Something like, but make sure you have to use pressure ventilator for that which will be used rto absorb the gas by water, sim[ply it wont have any oother way, if you use standard vent, nothing will happen the pressure wont be equal toi be required to be absorbed the water based on the flow : )
