Da, ima prav. HI 57 % bo lepo opravil svoje delo, vendar ga morate uporabiti dober presežek, koncentracija mora ves čas ostati > 40 %. Potrebno količino HI lahko zmanjšate z dodajanjem H3PO4 85%+ med reakcijo, kar ga bo dehidriralo in ohranilo visoko funkcionalno koncentracijo HI. Previdno! HI ne želite iztisniti ven!
Drugi način je, da HI pripravite na kraju samem iz fosforne kisline in NaI ali KI.
H3PO3 se seveda dobro obnese kot nadomestek za RP ali H3PO2 - potrebujemo ga več in višje temperature, vendar deluje odlično. H3PO4/NaI ali KI potrebuje še višje temperature.
Za H3PO3 poiščite v hidroponiki ali vinogradništvu.
