Há um documento no qual o processo de isolar a morfina do ópio bruto (e também o processamento e o refinamento posteriores para obter uma porcentagem bastante alta de heroína), como é feito pelos produtores de papoula afegãos, é documentado e explicado muito bem.
Eu mesmo ainda não experimentei, mas com certeza o farei nas próximas semanas. Talvez outra pessoa possa entrar em contato e dizer algo sobre se e como é possível reduzir a técnica de extração para se adequar a uma pequena produção de ópio de um cultivo caseiro ou algo semelhante.

Eu moro em um clima do norte, perto de Boston especificamente - não acho que essas plantas possam ser cultivadas ao ar livre sazonalmente? Tenho uma ou duas lâmpadas LED para o cultivo de maconha, isso não deve ser um problema para ter uma ou duas papoulas no armário? Quanto tempo leva da germinação à colheita? Há algum vendedor de sementes confiável no meio? Provavelmente posso encontrar informações sobre o cultivo no erowid, se não aqui...

To answer some my own naive questions. Poppies grow just fine in northern climates, some even prefer. Seeds which can be acquired in abundance, grocery store variety are active but weak, better strains can be found online, can be cast effortlessly and without much care onto loose soil almost anywhere during autumn or early spring and these things will grow. Indoors works but outdoor is better - you need alot more than 1 or 2. It only takes 2-3 months from start to finish. If sewn in autumn, they hibernate of course.

on top of that morphine can be purified by sublimation at 190°C lol
