Tartaric acid breaks down methamphetamine free base

Please help me split methamphetamine racemic free base using tartaric acid. I will be thankful. It would be best if you could post the detailed steps. The problem I'm having now is that no solid comes out after adding tartaric acid. I tried many methods but nothing works. Please help me.

What solvents have you tried?

Both D tartaric acid and L tartaric acid were used. When mixed with methamphetamine free base, no solids appear. I do not know why.
