Lublin police tracked down a mephedrone lab. Three people were arrested.
The tip-off led law enforcement officers to the Lodz Voivodeship, where they found a drug lab. It was run by a 50-year-old man with his 43-year-old partner and a 40-year-old acquaintance.
During the search, detectives seized 6 kg of mephedrone and several hundreds of liters of the substance, prepared for crystallization, as well as laboratory equipment. All of the detainees have already been temporarily arrested. They face up to 15 years in prison, police said.
The police report also said the equipment was on private property. All of the detainees were taken to the district attorney's office in Lublin, where they were charged. They will be charged with manufacturing a significant number of drugs, which is punishable by up to 15 years in prison.
That is not all, as a 20-meter-long tent was found in the attic of the building, adapted for growing marijuana.
Police also found two firearms and several hundred rounds of ammunition at the scene. The weapons will be analyzed, and officers are also checking to see if the detainees had a permit for the weapons and ammunition.
