Is there a way to make DMT from Bufotenin?

IF so, maybe someone can help with this.
Bufotenin is 5-ho-DMT. Maybe there is a way to break the 5-ho from the DMT part?

Yes,Anadenanthera colubrina is very abundant in my zone, so, I can extract it from the seeds of the tree

Hi. I tried to find information for you. You can provide reaction with Zn. You'll get DMT and ZnO. But i didn't find any described reaction with 5-OH-DMT and Zn.

I doubt the phenolic OH will leave without complicating things with respect to this substrate so maybe converting it to halogen that can be removed after formation of the Grignard followed by hydrolysis. Methylating it makes so much more sense even though the 1N heteroatom of indole shouldn’t get a methyl so protecting it before alkylation and removal at the end may have a point.
