Halogenation of Valerophenone.

Hello everyone, I recently bought some valerophenone (1-Phenylpentan-1-one cas:1009-14-9) that I want to brominate to 2-bromo-1-phenylpentan-1-one (cas:49851-31-2) and I'm not sure if this is possible using NBS (cas:128-08-5) instead of using elemental bromine has anyone tried this ?

Since then I've attempted the bromination a couple of times each with very low final yields of bromo-valerophenone, using it all up in the process. So no, sorry.
