Working in an underground laboratory carries many risks of damage to health. First of all, this is stress caused by illegal actions, irregular working hours, as well as chemical weights associated with the synthesis.
The glands of stress are the adrenal glands, which produce hormones such as cortisol and adrenaline, which play an important role in the body. Thanks to them, a person is able to withstand a variety of stimuli, be it injuries, illnesses or lack of sleep. Adrenal hormones affect the course of most physiological processes.
The protective activity of anti-inflammatory and antioxidant hormones produced by the adrenal glands helps to reduce the negative effects of chemical reagents, alcohol, drugs, and bad food.

To counteract stress and chemistry, you can have special nutraceuticals to support the adrenal glands and detoxification.
In this topic, I will tell you what nutritional supplements can be used to protect and support your body. Start taking the drugs one to two days before the start of synthesis and finish a few days after the completion of all work. The proposed program is relevant for typical cases without extreme problems, such as obtaining a chemical burn or serious intoxication with vapors of chemical reagents. For special cases, I will offer special rehabilitation programs.

Warning: Never put synthesis in a state of alcohol or drug intoxication. This can lead to serious injuries, burns, fire, risk of being detected by the police and many other negative consequences.

Vitamin C
. Of all the vitamins and minerals involved in adrenal metabolism, this vitamin is the most important. The more cortisol is produced, the more vitamin C is required. It is the basis for the course of hormonal cascades and the synthesis of steroid hormones by the adrenal glands. Take 1 to 3 grams of vitamin C with bioflavonoids. The more complex the load and the more neglected the state of the body, the more vitamin C is required.

Vitamin E plays a very interesting role. From a technical point of view, it is not needed at any stage of the cascade of hormonal reactions, but indirectly it is in demand in at least six different enzymatic reactions. During the secretion of hormones, the adrenal glands secrete free radicals, which are also formed during poisoning with chemical reagents. Free radicals can cause severe harm at the intracellular level if their spread is not controlled. Vitamin E neutralizes and absorbs harmful molecules. Vitamin C enhances the intracellular activity of vitamin E. These two vitamins go hand in hand in ensuring the course of a cascade of hormonal reactions.
Take 800 mcg of vitamin E in a combination of different tocopherols.

Vitamins of group B.
Pantothenic acid (B5)
is converted to acetyl-coenzyme A, a substance crucial for the conversion of glucose into energy. The greatest concentration falls on the adrenal glands, since a huge amount of energy is required for the secretion of hormones. Vitamin B5, with magnesium, vitamin C and E accelerate the process of energy formation.
The recommended daily dose is 500 mg.

Niacin (PP)
is needed to form the molecular structure of coenzymes, which play an important role in the stages of the cascade.
The recommended dose is 25-50 mg per day.

Vitamin B6
is also involved in some enzymatic reactions of the adrenal cascade.
Dosages of 50 to 100 mg per day are sufficient.

For optimal adrenal function, a small amount of other vitamins of group B is required. You can use stress formulas from vitamins of group B obtained from natural sources.

Magnesium on the adrenal glands acts like a lighter. It also contributes to the normal functioning of cells. This is very important for the production of enzymes and energy needed for the cascade of hormonal reactions.
The recommended daily dosage is 400 mg of magnesium citrate.

The liver is one of the main detoxification organs in the body.
It is in hepatocytes that the conversion of xenobiotics (compounds that have no nutritional value and are potentially toxic) into soluble compounds occurs, which are then removed from the body with bile or urine. The process of detoxification in the liver includes two consecutive stages: phase 1 - oxidation, reduction, hydroxylation and hydrolysis of xenobiotics to intermediate metabolites; Phase 2 – conjugation, methylation, sulfation and glucuronization of intermediates to final soluble products. Depending on the chemical composition and properties, different xenobiotics (carcinogens, drugs, narcotic substances) undergo different biochemical reactions. Phase 1 detoxification reactions are carried out by enzymes called cytochromes P450 (CYP450, cytochrome 450-dependent monooxidases, cytochrome P450 system), of which there are about 150. In addition to detoxifying xenobiotics, cytochromes P450 are necessary for the synthesis of steroids, bile acids and fatty acids.

The activity of CYP450 enzymes varies significantly depending on the genetic characteristics of a person, the level of exposure to toxins and his nutritional status. Each reaction catalyzed by CYP540 enzymes is accompanied by the formation of free radicals as intermediates. It should be emphasized once again that during the detoxification of xenobiotics in the liver, potentially toxic components are normally formed that can pose even greater harm to the body than their predecessors. To neutralize free radicals in the liver, as in many other organs, there is a complex antioxidant system. For the normal operation of the cytochrome P450 system, vitamins and trace elements are needed, primarily B vitamins, ascorbic acid (vitamin C), tocopherol (vitamin E), zinc, magnesium, as well as copper and selenium. These substances act as cofactors of cytochromes P450 and are antioxidants that prevent the formation and neutralizing free radicals.

During the reactions of the 2nd phase of detoxification, methyl, sulfhydryl, acyl groups, residues of glucuronic acid and amino acids or glutathione are attached to intermediate metabolites, as a result of which they acquire hydrophilic properties and can be finally removed from the body. Vitamins and trace elements are also necessary participants in these reactions. Thus, one of the main components of the methylation reaction is S-adenosylmethionine (SAM), for the synthesis of which vitamin B12 is required. The sulfation reaction requires sulfur-containing compounds, acetylation - thiamine (vitamin B1), vitamin C and pantothenic acid (vitamin B3), sulfonic oxidation - molybdenum Mo.

Deficiency of vitamins and trace elements involved in the regulation of the detoxification system of the liver can lead to adverse consequences.
To maintain detoxification processes, take the following medications:
S-adenosylmethionine (SAM) 400 mg per day.
Alpha Lipoic Acid 300 mg/day
Acetylcysteine – 600 mg or bioavailable forms of glutathione.
Amino acids, or protein of animal origin with a large amount of fiber.

Before taking all the supplements and developing your own scheme, I recommend that you study all the necessary drugs, the mechanisms of their actions, methods of use, as well as contraindications. For example, taking three hepaprotectors at once may be excessive in the recommended dosages. Therefore, you can divide into several stages or courses or choose more preferable ones for yourself.
I wish you all safe and successful syntheses, take care of your health!
