Both contain the same compound, sure, but the effect it is not the same. I am not talking about pill form of generics, rather raw powder of generics.

100 mg Pfizer viagra really bind to the pde-6 receptors in the eyes ("Blue lines vision"), while 100 mg of generic viagra does not.

Perhaps the binding affinity towards the pde5, pde6 receptors is "less potent" with generics? Meaning that since the manufacturing process modifies the Ki binding affinity ever so slightly that it triggers other responses?

For example instead of having a Ki = 14.7 nM it could have a Ki = < 50 nnM, rendering useless at the same dose and needing more of the drug to achieve the same effect?

- I kind of wonder if this is the same what happens when "manufacturing" Methamphetamine/mdma/amphetamine through leuckart reaction vs NaBH4?

- Could it be because of impurities in the bases?

- Does anyone have noticed this also?

Have any other chemists noticed this?

Usually comes from China.

But I have seen that some sources do use india as their source, then resell to westeners as if they were the manufacturer.

Yep, I have been taking generic raw powder tadalafil and sidenafil in my steroid cycle.
I had both tested in the lab and the results confirmed these substances.
Yet I noticed that the effect of these substances is not equal to the effect of the original.

The real deal Viagra comes from a lab with way more quality standards. Ie. they test the product, intermediates and precursors for the absolute highest quality. Most big American pharma companies take this to the extreme. When they say 99% pure, they mean it, and even the 1% (which in actuality might be less) will not contain certain impurities that the FDA considers harmful. Keep in mind I am not an expert in the Viagra and E.D. pills market and this could only be one of many reasons for the difference.

A drug is a drug. It can be generic, or name brand, and it will work the same. Pharma viagra won't bind any differently than generic. You can take cartel meth, purify it to 100%, and then take 100% pure prescribed meth (desoxyn) and it will affect you the same.

The only difference would be purity, what side products are leftover, how many, etc. Maybe some impurities make the drug less effective, maybe more, who knows.

Hard to say without proper testing. But generic, black market powder viagra or cialis will work exactly the same, in theory as name brand, assuming the purity is the same.
