Just wondering if any producers or resellers have considered adding the sodium salt of diethyl phenylacetyl malonate to their inventory, either now or eventually.

I believe it has recent been noticed ad a precursor, both in the US and the EU. Of course, mislabeled products help in this case, but having a technically legal precursor is helpful for beginners and advanced distributors.

Yields are low of p2p, and you have to separate the phenylacetic acid, imo by a distillation, as the bp of p2p is 214 C, and phenyl acetic is 265.5 C, but the hydrolysis is very simple, add hydrochloric acid.

Plus, one could easily produce the Methylenedioxy version of bothe the malonate and the sodium salt of the malonate. One can already buy metric tons of MDphenylacetic acid, and it's easy to convert it into the ethyl ester, then proceed as normal. Same with the hydrolysis.

Idk, anyone think of doing this eventually?

Also, anyone have any idea of the cas of the diethyl phenylacetyl malonate sodium salt?

If you are in the US, there is no technically legal precursor. Unless it's a schedule 3 or lower, they weigh the precursor and just prosecute you the schedule of the result. So schedule 2 federally
