Isopropyl Nitrite Synthesis

Hello bb forum, this is my first post and in this, I bring you the synthesis of Isopropyl nitrite, an antidote against cyanide that can be very useful in case of (God forbid) poisoning by said compound. Likewise, in some cases this substance is used recreationally by LGBTQ+ people.
I want to clarify that this synthesis is prepared for the sole purpose of information, and not to encourage the clandestine reproduction of certain chemical compounds that are on the FBI blacklist.
Likewise, I want to clarify that I am not an expert chemist, but rather a chemistry apprentice with a little more knowledge than my university classmates, the purity of my products being sufficiently acceptable and not deplorable.

Instruments to use:

-2x500 ml beakers
-pipette (for extractions)
-200 ml test tube
-amber bottles to store
-weighing machine

Compounds to use

-180 ml of Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA)
-300 ml conc. Hydrochloric Acid (HCl)
-230 g Sodium Nitrite (NaNO2)
-180 ml Distilled Water (dH2O)
- 1 to 2 spoon of Sodium Bicarbonate (NaHCO3)

Let's start, in a 500 ml beaker, we mix 300 ml of 37% hydrochloric acid, and 180 ml of Isopropyl Alcohol. (let's call this mixture, mixture B). We put mixture B in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes so that its temperature decreases.

Meanwhile, in the other beaker, we mix 180 ml of distilled water and 230 g of sodium nitrite. (For this synthesis, I did not have a scale, so I just poured the NaNO2 into dH2O until a supersaturated reaction formed. We mix it well. (I didn't took a pic of NaNO2 and dH2O mix, only water phase (then I added NaNO2)

-Once mixture A has been well stirred, we add the already cooled solution B drop by drop and mix until the addition is complete.

- After the addition, two layers will be formed (the upper one being the product we are looking for)
- Then we extract the top layer with a pipette and store it in a 250 ml beaker (I don't have one, yet a glass is ok)

- The next step is to eliminate the remains of acid that didn't fully react. For this, we add a tablespoon of Sodium Bicarbonate to our product and mix until there are no bubbles.

-Once our nitrite is already cleaner, the next and final step is to decant our Isopropyl Nitrite and store it in amber bottles.
-The final yield is approximately 110 ml.
