Can I use tap water in amphetamine synthesis

I’m going to cook soon so I was wondering does all the chlorine in my tap water would affect the purity, or does it affect the reaction?
Should I boil it or let it sit in the open so most of the chlorine could evaporate or try a different method of filtration ?
